Description

A salve made with sun-infused organic extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) extracts using the aerial parts of purple dead nettle and cleavers—mixed with poplar-infused EVOO and local beeswax.

Purple dead nettle and cleavers are widely found herbs that shoot up in the early spring, and invite the body to cleanse. Purple dead nettle is astringent with cooling and drying tendencies, and comes with purgative, diuretic, diaphoretic, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties. While cleavers are relaxing, nutritious, hypotensive and support the immune system. A great topical salve to soothe and feed the skin.
