Description

A salve made with sun-infused organic extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) extracts using hawthorn flowers, leaves and berries, pine buds, and birch leaves and bark—mixed with poplar-infused EVOO and local beeswax.

Hawthorn has warming properties, with sweet, sour and astringent tastes. It is nutritious and famed for its heart-supporting benefits: cardiotonic, cardioprotective, antiarrhthmic and trophorestorative. Pine is warming and cooling and is a diuretic, expectorant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory as well as restorative and soothing to the nerves and lungs. While birch is great for the skin, is analgesic and equally anti-inflammatory.
