Description

A salve made with sun-infused organic extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) extracts using red clover flowers, plantain leaves, and birch bark and leaves—mixed with poplar-infused EVOO and local beeswax.

Red clover is a widely found herb, often thought of as a weed, that is sweet to the taste and cooling to the body. A mild antispasmodic, sedative, expectorant and mild alterative. It also aids in lowering inflammation in the body and reducing the effects of menopause. Plantain is both cooling and drying and is a famed antibacterial and anti-inflammatory green. While birch is a tree that warms the body and is prized as an analgesic, anti-inflammatory with skin and edema benefits.

Precautions: Red clover should be avoided if pregnant, on blood thinners or hormonal therapy.
